The temperature and humidity in our data centre is monitored 24 hours a day and is serviced by redundant, high capacity climate control systems.
All servers are stored in locked cabinets and access to the machine rooms is strictly controlled by electronic swipe cards.24hr on-site security staff and CCTV systems ensure no unauthorised personnel can access your servers.
All our network equipment is wired in a redundant, meshed configuration for maximum uptime. In the event of a failure in any one device the redundant hot-spare takes over automatically within seconds. Not that our equipment is liable to failure in the first place, with redundant PSU's, processing engines and blades.

The industry is changing and we must change to reflect this. All server co-location is now based upon power draw per server.
Many years ago, when the hosting industry was in its infancy, size was important. Most servers drew less than 0.25A, so hosting companies were able to populate a whole rack with servers.
Nowadays, with modern processors in servers drawing, in many cases, over an Amp each, size is not so important. Power and the cooling of the heat generated by this power has become paramount. As a result of this, we have chosen to withdraw pricing from our shared colocation page and request that you contact our sales department on 0871 2601000 or complete our contact form for a quote. Please be sure to include information on how many servers you wish to colocate, how much power each machine will draw (if known) and/or information on each machine's particular specification so that our sales team can find the best possible value colocation service for you.

We appreciate that the thought of committing to a 12 month contract with a new provider can be unnerving.
Although we have every confidence that you will be happy with our service we understand you might like a bit more reassurance.
Therefore we have introduced our "pay as you go" server colocation option.
Simply add 50% to the monthly fee's above and the contract period becomes 1 month instead of 12.
If after a month you're not happy you can cancel your contract with no penalties. Alternatively you can switch to an annual contract and take advantage of our great rates!
How soon will I be online after I place an order?
If the hardware and space required is in stock you can be online the following business day after your first payment clears.
Do you have a Service Level Agreement (SLA)?
Of course, our sales team will provide a copy of our SLA along with your quote.
Can you backup my data?
Yes we can, the options available are on our Data Backups page.
Can you protect my server with a firewall?
Yes, check out our Firewall page for details on the options available.
Can you notify me if there is a problem with the server?
Absolutely. Our advanced monitoring systems check that not only is your server available, but if its services (web and email etc) are running too. Check our Server Monitoring page for more details.
How much is additional data transfer (bandwidth)?
In the unlikely event that you use more than the included data transfer (bandwidth), each additional GB is only 50p! If you find yourself exceeding the included amount on a regular basis and commit to more bandwidth as part of your contract each additional GB would only be 25p!
Can I upgrade my server before the end of the contract?
Yes, we don't penalise your success! If you need to upgrade before the end of your contract just contact our sales team who will provide you with a quote.
