We appreciate that it is sometimes difficult to decide between colocated and dedicated server hosting and the respective benefits each service offers. That is why Server City is proud to announce the launch of our Rent-to-own scheme. Why decide between dedicated and colocated server hosting when you can benefit from both? In a first for the United Kingdom, you can now rent a server from us over a two-year period, with server ownership transferred to your organisation at the end of the contact period. You can then choose to colocate your server with us or take it away for whichever purpose you choose.

How does the scheme work? Easy! The rent to own scheme is available on all new dedicated server contracts, just sign a 24 month contract instead of a 12 month one, make each monthly payment on time and at the end of the contract the server becomes your property. You can then just pay colocation charges in the 3rd year (currently a mere £50 per month) or take the server away to use for whatever purpose you choose. Alternatively you can trade it in against a contract on a new server! During the 24 month contract period you benefit from: Not having to make a large upfront hardware investment Get a return on your investment Hardware upgrades and repairs carried out by Server City engineers Basic OS telephone and email support Trade in value against a new dedicated server contract
